Ah the pets! I'm posting again, because I forgot to talk about animals. How are my cats going to react when Jaeli comes home? My bro and sis in law have a dog, Rupert (SOOOO CUTE) and he is having a hard time. He's protective of Max, but at the same time wants the same attention he's had all along. I guess I can't blame him. I hope my kitties will be okay. I think they sense a change is going to occur soon, becuase Samsun especially is following me EVERYWHERE, just like a little puppy dog. He doesn't want to leave my side. Any suggestions about pets and new babies?

2s ROCK!

Today, I went into Labor and Delivery because I hadn't felt Jaeli move since yesterday afternoon. It concerned me and I remember they told me to come in if I couldn't feel her. They monitored me and found her heart beat. Then I was having contractions. They weren't huge, but they were there. The nurse did check me and found that I am dilated to a 2!!!! Wahoo!!! Sign of getting closer I think! Maybe she won't be overdue! She is so unpredictable already. We have 16 days to go until her due date!

P.S. Can a baby girl have too many clothes or outfits? :)

P.P.S. Any predictions of who she may look like? There's a pic of Dan and I to help you decide. Let's hope for the dark hair like Dan! :)

Look at my cute nephew!!! Dang it he's so adorable! It makes me want Jaeli to be here sooo much. Maximus Tyler was born on April 8th, weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces, was 20 1/2 inches long and was 3 weeks early. I wonder too Linds how much he would have weighed if he would have made full term. Tyler and Lindsey are awesome parents already. We love MAX! Go to their Blog, www.lobsteroctopus.blogspot.com to see some great pictures.

WHOA! Do I really only have 25 days left! SHIZ! I have a lot to do!!!!

When It Rains, It Pours

Does anyone else EVER feel this way? I mean really!? There are so many things going on right now, and I am sinking. A week ago I was just barley above water, now I am sinking. First, the economy is very stressful, and I know it is for everyone. Then to have Parent Conferences coming up next week is a whole other thing. It is very nerve wracking to get grades, citizenship and other comments together for 24 children (sorry if anyone that has a child in my class is reading this). Along with school, I have to have my Teaching Portfolio done by April 7th. That is the day I present. I present on 10 Standars of teaching and have to have artifacts and reflections to back me up. It is a HUGE assignment and important for me to get done. I just feel unmotivated to get it done because I am running out of time. Finally, Dan and I are not ready for Jaeli to come. Her nursery isn't ready, we don't have all her furniture and we still need to paint. I maybe stress too much, but I hoe all of you are having a better time right now. How do YOU get through busy, scary stressful times?

Baby Update

I have a feeling this is going to become my new journal. It's so much easier to type than write. Well, I am 15 weeks into my pregnancy and have lost 25 pounds. Nothing likes to stay down and nothing EVER sounds good to eat. Liquid is an issue as well. Water makes me the sickest, which is not good. I've already had to have an IV for liquids because of dehydration. Because I've lost so much, and because I think I'm tall, I'm not showing AT ALL. It really makes me depressed. Our next appointment is December 4th. They will just do the normal stuff, heartbeat, check weight, check urine, etc. Then a couple weeks after that we'll do that gender ultra sound. I am so excited! I am truly convinced it's a girl. I've been sad about that, because I really wanted a boy first. To have a girl first would mean she would be more and more like me. That's really scary. Dan and I have a bet, which I just realized both sides benefit him. If it's a boy, Dan gets to build his dream computer. If it's a girl, he takes me to Hawaii. Obviously I didn't think that through very well.

I Take It Back!

When Dan and I were trying to get pregnant, I said, " I will gladly be sick for 9 months if I get pregnant." What in the world was I thinking? I have never been so sick! I guess having the doctor tell me I had a cold and flu virus at the same time doesn't help things. I haven't been able to keep anything down food or drink wise. I am concerned about becoming dehydrated. I am waiting for a call back from the doctor to decide what to do.

Can I Buy a Vowel, I Mean a Better Ending?

So, of course I've read the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. I am obsessed. WARNING, if you haven't read it, don't read on. Okay so, I am so confused and kind a disappointed with the ending of Breaking Dawn. I was really expecting a HUGE fight to break out. Instead it was like, "Okay, we'll let whatever you say go, even though we are the Volturi and rule the Vampire world pretty much." And, what's with Bella almost getting killed by her own baby? I mean, sheesh! I don't know if I could be that strong and hold on if my baby were half vampire and ripping me apart from the inside. Good thing I'm not having a half vampire baby. Regarless, I can't wait for the movie on November 21. I will be there at midnight! Check out her website to get more info on the movie at www.stephaniemeyer.com

What? A POSITIVE test?

So, I woke Dan up Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 4:30 a.m. with a POSITIVE pregnancy test! I had my suspicions, but I had told myself I wouldn't test until the END of September. We had miscarried in the late part of December, early January, and I was really depressed. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a PREGNANT on the test though. When I was pregnant the first time, I never got a positive home pregnancy test, so this was all new to me. We're really excited, and nervous at the same time. We have our first appointment this Wednesday, so I'll let you know.
